My little shop was a huge success. I had more work than I could handle with 3 embroidery heads. Since I had a guaranteed income as a subcontractor for a large T-shirt company, I felt confident that I needed to buy more equipment. I was getting orders by the HUNDREDS and was tripping over boxes. It was really bad because I didn’t have a way to dispose of the cardboard. I would throw the empty broken down boxes in the back hallway and take them to the dump once a month or so. One day I almost lost it from frustration when a guy came in asking about getting shirts made. He rescued me by offering to haul it away for me. He filled up the entire back of his pickup. I ran out to thank him, but he just disappeared. Literally gone, poof! It was like a miracle to me, I never saw him again.
